Have your say on the future of Epping Forest

The Government has launched its consultation on Local Government Reorganisation which runs from 19th November to 11th January.

What does this mean for you?  At present, many of the public services we rely on (waste, social care, planning, housing, potholes, highways, etc) are managed by either Essex County Council or Epping Forest District Council.   But this is about to change.  Epping Forest District  Council will be merged with other districts or boroughs in Essex as part of Local Government Reorganisation.

An example of one of the options being considered is below - a 3 tier structure which would see Epping Forest District merged with Harlow, Brentwood, Chelmsford and Maldon Councils.
